Calhoun, Georgia’s Larkin Poe, the Grammy-winning dynamic musical duo fronted by sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell, and their band delivered a nearly two-hour, knock-out performance tonight at Lou’s The Hawthorn.
Tonight’s show was the first of their “Bloom Tour 2025.” This was more than just a warmup gig; it was a riveting, enchanting, and mesmerizing night of soaring harmonies, blazing lead guitar solos, dirty, swampy slide guitars, solid ensemble weaving, and hard-hitting Nashville-polished performances. Everything was perfect–the sound, the stage lighting, the harmony vocals, and the pace of their set and song choices.
This is a band that’s only going to get bigger and bigger. These ladies have the chops, the songs, and the stage presence to make it to large venues and more mass appeal. They are the ones to watch.
