A diverse lineup of 24 top national and regional rock, alternative, pop, soul, and country acts and legends will grace two stages for the three-day Roots N’ Blues Festival from October 7th-9th at the Stephens Lake Park in Columbia, Missouri
Acts including perennial favorites Wilco, country giant Tanya Tucker, legendary queen of funk, Chaka Khan, the colorful Tank, and the Bangas, twangy Old Crow and the Medicine Show, and many more will be delivering three days and three nights of American “roots” music and lasting memories. A total of 24 acts will entertain a massive crowd of music fans and avid concertgoers looking forward to one of the final outdoor festivals in the midwest of 2022. Music fans from Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbia, and beyond will trek to attend this annual festival.
Wilco’s Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer Jeff Tweedy will be presented with the 2022 Missouri Roots Songbook honor on October 7th, live on stage as part of the Roots N Blues festival in Columbia, Missouri. Tweedy’s band Wilco is headlining Friday night.
Festival organizers continue to diversify the lineup and ensure that they attract a new generation of music fans and concertgoers. A diverse group of vendors, beverage, and food trucks will also be present all three days and evenings.
The talent lineup for Friday includes Meredith, the Kay Brothers, Jamie Wyatt, Hippo Campus, Tanya Tucker, and Wilco, closing out evening one.
Saturday’s afternoon and evening lineup include SIFA, J. ARTiz & The MO’ Soul Collective, Jackie Venson, Kassi Ashton, Cautious Clay, The Tip, Tank & The Bangas, Larkin Poe, Chaka Khan, and Jon Batiste.
The final day and evening of the festival, Sunday, October 9th, includes Jen Norman, The Heavy Heavy, Brittney Spencer, Liz Cooper, The Steeldrivers, Houndmouth, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Bleachers, closing out the festival for 2022.
