The classic Primus lineup of Les Claypool, Tim Alexander (drums), and Larry LaLonde (guitar) returns to St. Louis for a much-anticipated show on November 5th at the Peabody Opera House. Primus was last in St. Louis in 2015 when they opened for Tool. Claypool was last in St. Louis in 2016 as one half of the Claypool Lennon Delirium.
The trio is embarking on their The Ambushing The Storm Tour behind their ninth studio release The Desaturating Seven (ATO Records). Fans can expect the usual prog-rock, Zappaesque zaniness that’s a Primus show and to hear selections from their new album, as well as classics from groundbreaking albums including 1991’s Sailing the Seas of Cheese and 1993’s Pork Soda.
As fans already know, a Primus show is always a singular, trippy, and bizarre affair. Don’t miss this one.
